Track Punching and Clipping
Factory-quality track window cutouts with rounded corners for Factory Tracks. Procedure includes punching out remaining windows and installing genuine Camoplast clips. (Camoplast tracks only -- OEM Polaris, Ski-Doo, Yamaha).

Many of todays long tracks come from the factory with every third window closed. These "closed window" tracks are unable to cool due to lack of air/snow flow as well as having rubber to plastic contact creating extreme friction and heat. In many cases, the Hifax and track simply melt together! Closed window tracks and "stock drivers" result in ratcheting problems. Due to ratcheting, track must be tighened excessively thus increasing heat, drag and robbing horsepower.

Track problems can be solved by punching out the windows on your Factory track. Our clean, high quality window cutouts have smooth rounded corners, and we install only Genuine Camoplast clips on all grouser bars. Punching allows use of external tooth drivers to eliminate ratcheting. Track can then be loosened up dramatically to free up horsepower.

Use of extroverts has shown reduced rolling friction allowing you to run up to 2 grams heavier weights in the clutch for the same RPM. Dealers have reported up to 8HP increase at the track on Dyno.

Shipping/Packing Instructions
Roll up your track tightly and shrink wrap well or box it. Tape label on outside. Be sure to include daytime phone number on the label. Average FED EX Ground shipping cost is $20.
